Statement is a magical place! I stopped in during the Harvest walk after having basically stalked this shop on social media and it did not disappoint! The owner is a sweet peach and there are tons of fun and unique clothes and gifts at all price points! This is the perfect gift shop for anyone visiting park ave looking for a special treat for themselves or for a gift to anyone!! BRAVO STATEMENT!

great boutique. i bought my mom some handmade honey soap for a reasonable price. they have lots of gift items and an indoor dog that was so so cute. the cashier was very friendly and gave my bf and i recommendations on what to do in Rochester since we were visiting.

The best boutique in Roc!! Statement is full of colorful, unique, and on trend items. From clothing, to accessories, to jewelry, and art, Courtney has a great eye. Shopping here is a fun and full service experience. I always leave feeling energized by the upbeat vibe and Courtney’s sunny personality. There is also a shop dog! They offer a range of prices from low end to higher end (pieces range from about $20- $100). Wares are a mix of casual and “statement” pieces, designed by both independent makers and bigger brands. A great place to get a gift or treat yourself!

An absolute must-visit if you’re in the area. I’ve been shopping at Statement for at least 6 years now. Courtney, the owner, is a ray of sunshine in gloomy Rochester weather! Her vibrant store has brought me some of my most beloved items: dresses that feel like they were made for me, glasses that strangers stop on the street to compliment, rings that were made with visible care and love. Courtney has a love and passion for people, clothing, and art—and it shows!

I always stop in here to check it out and look for gifts for my partner. There's always something season and fun and affordable to pick up. She's also snagged a few clothing items including a really cool romper she loves. Neat spot and a good place for a guy to go and find something for a significant other or a quick date stop on a weekend.

I visited Statement for the first time during the Park Ave Stroll and immediately fall in love with the colorful and eclectic selection of clothing, the fun gifts, and the art from local artists. Loved it so much that I bought this adorable top and four prints from an incredible local artist (@brenzaart) and then went back a few weeks later to pick up a birthday gift for my aunt. The cherry on top for me, other than how sweet and helpful the owner was at each of my visits (even going so far as to personally help me find just the right thing for my aunt!), was that Statement has it's very own super friendly shop dog! This place just exudes joy and I understand that the curated inventory is always changing, which just means I have to go back 😍
